QuickCAPTURE gaze analysis software provides basic X, Y gaze position data. Unlike other complex eye tracking software, which can take hours to master, QuickCAPTURE is easy to set-up and use. Files are conveniently saved to a .CSV file for analysis later on. QuickCAPTURE’s SIMPLE TAB INTERFACE
Our easy-to-use Capture tab enables researchers to collect subject-response data in seconds. With this tab, researchers can capture eye gaze data and save it to a .CSV file. A separate .CSV file is then created for each participant. Researchers can then play back the eye gaze data found in the .CSV file in the “Playback” tab, or it can be aggregated manually.
This tab enables researchers to open a .CSV file for any participant, and then play back the X,Y gaze position of where they looked on the screen. Our Playback Tab replays a colored gaze box to show where the participant looked on the screen. To save a video file of a user session, QuickCAPTURE data can be saved using Jing or other commercial software programs like Camtasia.
The slideshow mode displays three consecutive slides for a specified time frame, allowing researchers to quickly retrace where participants looked and for how long. For example: An additional .CSV file is created for each slide showing X,Y gaze position, pupil size, dwell times, blink rates, and other valuable data to allow researchers to aggregate and analyze afterwards in their own time. The .CSV file for each slide can also be opened inside QuickCAPTURE and then played back inside the Playback tab.
CUSTOM SLIDESHOW TAB
The Custom Slideshow tab allows researchers to create their own PowerPoint presentations with as many Look-Cells as required for each slide shown. The percentage of time the participant spent viewing each cell is then output into a .CSV file for each slide.
