The EyeTech SGD is a
dedicated speech generating device with
communication software for synthesized
speech output. Multiple methods of
selection include physical (touch screen),
and switch selection (scanning). Also
multiple methods of message formulation
through spelling and a variety of phrase and
symbol keyboards.
The EyeTech TM3 (formerly known as Quick Glance 3SH)
enables users to control their Speech Generating device through eye control.
Individuals with mobility impairments can access
all functions of their speech generating device (SGD) with their eye
movements. This is ideal for ALS patients with progressive neural
motor deterioration. |
