Version 4.5 of the Quick Glance software has now been released. This version is compatible with Quick Glance 1 and all models of Quick Glance 2. Two new modes of operation have been added: "Autopilot" and "Blink Clicking without Gaze Tracking."
Auto pilot enables Quick Glance to run continuously and automatically calibrate each user as they position themselves in front of the computer. Autopilot is not as accurate as other modes, but works well for computer based exhibits designed for its capability. The second new mode essentially allows Quick Glance to be used as a simple switch. Eye blinks register as mouse clicks, but eye gaze is not tracked and the cursor is not moved. |

| CSUN CONFERENCE 2005 | ||
The conference was a big hit to all who came and tried out our system. Many in attendance were able to try out the Quick Glance 2 system with great success. Free memory sticks were also given away every day to the person who recorded the best calibration score.
Shaina Alperin of the Lancaster school district in California came out to try the Quick Glance 2S system at this year's conference. At seven years of age, Shaina was able to read nursery rhymes and enjoy other fun applications on Speaking Dynamically Pro with just her eyes in a matter of minutes.
